I love boxers, they are exceedingly comfortable and I love the way they feel, but there are situations in which they Just Don't Work. There are certain positions one can put one's body in that will basically destroy boxers unless they are incredibly loose. I've lost one pair of boxers to doing a lot of drop-stretches in my martial arts class. And I'm not trying to paint myself as some superb athlete since I'm, well, not. So now I wear briefs or boxer-briefs if I think I'm going to have to move a lot, and boxers if I think I'm not and I think someone else is going to see my underwear. (Okay, sometimes I wear boxers even if I have to move a lot if I hope someone else will be seeing my underwear.) IP: Logged |

I do not think saggy-butted white cotton briefs are attractive at all. I love that you still have to "guess" what is under the boxers! What a nice suprise! Ok i have to say that i like both boxers and briefs on guys depending on thier personality. Guys who are more free spirited and sexual tend to wear boxers which i find verrrrrry sexy. Guyg who want more solid ground tend to wear briefs. AS for those boxer briefs things i think they can be ok because they have the best of both worlds. Personally i think that a guy should boxers only if he doesnt have to grab himself every 2 seconds to make sure its still there. if u do this and you're a guy i think u should stick with the briefs until you grow up a little more!!! I have the disenting vote as far as the boxers/briefs thing, Boxers...I have seen very few men that look sexy in boxers, half the time it looks like they are wearing baggy diapers under their pants...yuck, and when they are off it looks like they are wearing shorts. I think boxer briefs are sexy, and for those who are too modest to wear briefs that is your answer. I personally vacilate between boxer briefs and briefs, depending on my mood. I need the support. I used to wear silk boxers and I liked how they felt and I got a fair share of compliments from girls that saw them (and several pairs managed to 'disappear' after being seen), but down here in the Austin - Houston area the temperature rarely drops below 80 at any point during the year. Boys and girls, silk is the HOTTEST fabric that you wear next to your skin. Snow skiiers know this. Nothing sucks like having bunched up, hot, wet silk under your pants all day. Being somewhat athletic, I kept the briefs around for going to the gym, playing racqetball, etc. Although, I NEVER wore white after I turned 12...just too childish! I discovered boxer briefs about 4 years ago, and have never gone back. Every woman I've known just loves how they look, but more importantly *I* love the way they look. ok...here goes, confession time. I much prefer boxers but my honey wears briefs...LADIES brief panties that is! He's not gay obviously (we ARE married!) or into that cross dresser thing or anything, he says he just likes the feel of nylon on his...ah..."equipment" (not jackhammer size, more like a cute screwdriver) I like how he feels in them too but to be honest I have to close my eyes to keep from bursting out laughing....or being unsure of exactly who or WHAT I am with....lol IP: Logged |

I sign onto the Internet with good intentions but somehow I always derail at some point... I'm probably the only male high school student left who wears tighty-whities. They're great, except for the female perception of them ("Oh my gawd! You wear tighty-whities! Haha, wait ‘till so and so hears."). I tried wearing boxers over them but that was still to annoying. Since PE is over with I don't have to worry about it so much now. Unfortunately, briefs make you a prime target for de-pants-ment. 10points past the knees, and 20points if there are girls around seems to be the going rate. This happened once after I lied and said I wore boxers. Other than that, keep them in the dresser when chicks are around! -K IP: Logged |

I prefer guys in boxer briefs. Someone mentioned earlier that boxers remind them of the creepy puffy bathing suits. Ew. I really hate those. Puffy shorts are the worst, they rank down there with the speedo. The long trunks are better, but lately I've been noticing something my friends and I fondly refer to as "tiny shorts". They're the boxer briefs of the swimsuit world, I really hope it's a style that catches on! IP: Logged |

Briefs, all the time. Gotta have that support. Tried boxers once, and it was, like, why bother? They're not doing anything but keeping me from getting caught in my zipper, which, although that's a good and noble thing to do, isn't enough, given that briefs do the same thing and keep me from hurting myself when I run... OK. Personal confession time. I've tried them all in my time - briefs (yes, up to but little beyond the age of 12), boxers, boxers and briefs. Until very recently, I was all about the boxers, baby. But due to one sitcom and one forum, I tried out boxer-briefs - finally cemented the desire to give them a whirl. And now I'm all about the boxer-briefs. Damn, they're good. Though not a good conversation-starter (don't ask me how I know this, please don't), they rawk. If I had friends to recommend different types of underwear to, I would give them the A++ and the gold star right away. Of course, this is not fully road-tested, but initial impression is very good. Briefs. Yes, I'm a hold out from the boxer craze that has swept North America. I made it through High school PE with "thighy whities" that was probably the biggest challange. I would have to say they offer better support especially for sports. I never did try boxers because like someone here pointed out "my mom still buys my underwear". I know for a fact some girls think their cute, others see it as childish. Currently I have the fruit of the loom "colours", white haines, and a few pairs of boxer-briefs (for emergencies). Boxers. i love them Boxers When I was young and until highschool i wore briefs. They seemed to be nice. But then i discovered boxers. So i decided to buy a pair, when i got home after buying them i inmediately changed to them. I stayed just in boxers all afternoon. I Loved Them!!! Boxers are at the top in evolution of underwear. They let freedom and your penis and testicles feels great down there. I never tried boxer briefs. I think they rock too. Maybe one day i give them a try. Also boys look better in boxers!! I'm a tighty whities man through and through. To me, plain white briefs are what my underwear should feel and look like: supportive, soft, streamlined, no-frills, un-decorated. I don't like boxers or boxer briefs and wouldn't touch bikini briefs or thongs with a ten-foot pole. Boxers look like little dresses, bathing suits or pajamas. (I especially don't like the name-brand waistband ones. I don't like being a corporate tool.) More significantly, if I wear boxers, I always end up squashing my stuff when I sit down or roll over in bed. I am very sensitive in these regions and don't like the feel of the cloth of a lot of boxers. The silk ones are gross--too glam--and they hurt if I run into them the wrong way. Also, boxers don't give me enough support. I'm very active throughout the day. Biking, running, even walking a couple miles, in boxers is out. For similar reasons I don't freeball. The boxer briefs look like a cross between something you'd see in an old photo of Coney Island and an outfit from Star Trek--The Next Generation. Tighty-whities are really comfortable, more so than girl's underwear. You know how women's underwear can chaffe between your upper leg and crotch? Tighty-whities don't do that. But I was uncomfortable with the whole white thing. Briefs are fine as long as they're not white, that just looks dumb and like your mom's still buying your underwear for you. I looove the cotton boxers. The thin, stripped, cotton boxers. Those are so yummalicious (like my made up word?). Boxer briefs are nice, y'all.
